New Summer Coffee Flavors! Lemon Shandy Cold Brew and MoreSummer is almost here (at least, we hope the snow is finally gone here in Wisconsin), and with it, some new flavors from Berres Brothers! We’re excited to announce our latest limited-edition varieties, which include two returning favorites and two all-new, light, summer-y flavors. Here’s the low-down on flavor notes, the inspiration behind the new flavors, and more!
The New Flavor Line-Up: Hawaiian Coconut Coffee and Lemon Shandy Cold Brew
Hawaiian Coconut Coffee
From deodorant to water to whipped cream, coconut seems to be in everything lately, so naturally, we had to try it in our coffee—and it didn’t disappoint. Softly toasted with the perfect amount of subtlety, Berres Brothers Hawaiian Coconut Coffee creates a tropical, beachy feel to set the mood of your day without overpowering your coffee with sweetness. Try it hot to start off the morning or enjoy over ice later in the day for a refreshing pick-me-up.
Also check out our CinnaMan Grogg Coffee for another island-inspired coffee flavor.
Cold Brew Shandy
Our next flavor in the lineup is Lemon Shandy Cold Brew. Wisconsinites love a good summer shandy, so we thought we’d jump on the bandwagon in our own way and add it to our very first cold brew coffee. With a light hint of lemon and astonishing smoothness, our Lemon Shandy Coffee offers balanced flavor with less acidity and bitterness than other cold brew blends. Just use it in a French press and refrigerate overnight, then serve the next morning or kick back and relax with a cup in the afternoon or evening.
Back by Popular Demand: Butter Pecan Ice Cream and Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee
Butter Pecan Ice Cream Coffee
A favorite dessert for cooling down on a hot summer night—and, we’ve found, a great pairing with coffee—we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring back our Butter Pecan Ice Cream flavor. A delightful fusion of buttery, nutty sweetness, our Butter Pecan Ice Cream Coffee is richly indulgent and will remind you of a giant scoop of the delicious dessert (you can even pair it with vanilla ice cream if you want an extra-indulgent after-dinner treat). We developed this flavor in 2015 to offer at the Wisconsin State Fair, and our customers have loved it ever since. If you enjoy its namesake, this flavor is for you.

This is one of the BEST flavors you guys have created. Please don’t stop making it as I will keep ordering it! My husband loves it too. Good work Berres Brothers. You’re still my #1 favorite coffee company. – Jane Sprinkel
We have been buying Berres coffee for many years. Butter Pecan Ice Cream has been, by far, our favorite. Please make this a regular flavor on your line up. – Raleigh Kick
Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee
One of our top-selling flavors, Berres Brothers Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee is also returning to the menu this month. Lightly spiced with a splash of hazelnut, this variety is subtler than our CinnaMan Grogg, yet still provides the indulgent, creamy smoothness of all our flavors (learn how our special roasting process makes it happen). Perk up in the morning with this spicy twist on a beloved classic.
