Since 2015, Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters has had the honor of sponsoring the Seasoned with Creativity competition, for the Textile, Craft and Culinary exhibitors at the Wisconsin State Fair. At the Fair this August the title of the competition was Kickin’ Coffee Bundt, and we must say, we were excited to see the creative recipes that would be entered.
It seems like a natural pairing, our delectable coffee enjoyed with an indulgent baked treat. However, what if the coffee became a key ingredient in that baked good?
Home bakers from across the state were tasked with the challenge of incorporating one of our flavored coffees into a delicious and creative Bundt cake. And all of the participants did not disappoint in their offerings this year!
That is why we decided to share these Bundt cake recipes with all of you! When you find a good recipe, you have to share it.
Jenna Zaffran of Greenfield took home the title of first place and a Berres Brothers gift basket for her delicious Caramel Overload Grogg Cold Brew Bundt Cake. Not only did she add the cold brew into the cake, but she also added it to the glaze and a little finely ground coffee to the streusel topping, too! We love that she added coffee to every element!

Roberta Sigel from Milwaukee took second place with her English Toffee Donut Cake. A cake that tastes like a donut, with the indulgence of our English Toffee coffee?! Sounds like a win-win-win concept!

Barbara Strahler of Reedsburg won 3rd place with her recipe for Coffee Butter Rum Bundt Cake. The swirled design ensures you get the scrumptious flavor of our Butternut Rum coffee in every bite!

Susan Olson from Milwaukee placed 4th with her Chocolate Pecan Raspberry Coffee Cake. She used our Chocolate Raspberry coffee along with fresh raspberries in the cake to really bring out the fresh berry flavor!
